THE BLUE PROGRAM
THE STANDARD CONTINUES.
Six days a week. Six months. Hybrid training built for the best shape of your career.
GET THE BLUE PROGRAM
SCROLL
THE NEXT TEST IS NOT ON THE CALENDAR.
You are training for the job now, and the job is less forgiving. No date, no gate, no taper. Nobody is going to tell you when you need to be ready, which means the only honest answer is to be ready.
That is not a lesser goal than a course. It is a longer one, and it is the reason to be on a program instead of just working out.
In a combat arms unit, physical credibility is professional credibility. You are the ceiling your formation trains to. Whatever standard you quietly hold becomes theirs.
BUILT FOR THE WHOLE DEMAND
ONE PROGRAM. THE WHOLE DEMAND.
The program is hybrid. Six sessions a week moving strength, endurance, and work capacity at the same time. Not four programs competing for your week. One program built for a demand that tests all of it.
Most men who train hybrid on their own get less out of both halves. Run hard the day after heavy lower body work and you blunt the adaptation you just paid for. The qualities either build each other or cancel each other, and sequencing decides which. That sequencing is the program. It is the part almost nobody gets right alone, and it is why a PhD writes this instead of an athlete with a good Instagram.
STRENGTH
Barbell work. The base under everything you are asked to carry.
ENDURANCE
Runs and long efforts. The first quality to fade and the slowest to get back.
WORK CAPACITY
Circuits. Producing output when you are already tired.
DURABILITY
Progression written so you can hold this for six months, not six weeks.
DELIVERED WITH THE B/G TRAIN APP.
The Blue Program is delivered in the B/G Train App, built by our team, on iOS and Android.
TODAY'S WORK, WHEREVER YOU ARE.
Open the app and the session is already there. Full explanations, video for every movement, and the coach's notes. See the entire program ahead of you, or just the work in front of you. It runs offline, so no signal in the field or in a basement gym does not cost you a day.
ASK THE MAN WHO WROTE IT.
Dr. Charlie is in the app. So is Roger, our AI, who knows your program, your history, and what you are training for. One of them answers instantly. The other one wrote your program.
THE RECORD.
Every session logged. Every best lift kept. A streak that makes it obvious the day you start coasting. Six months from now you will be able to see exactly what changed.
EVERYONE ON THE SAME DAY
SOMEONE ELSE ALREADY RAN IT FASTER.
Everyone on the Blue Program trains the same session on the same day. Not a similar program. The same work, the same morning. So when today hurt, you can see what the other men held, what they loaded, and where they broke. You are measured against people doing exactly what you did.
The men in your unit may not push you. That is usually why you are here. This puts you next to the ones who will, wherever they are stationed, and a few of them are better than you at this. You will know which ones inside a week, and you will want to catch them.

WHY BLUE/GREEN?
YOU COULD PROGRAM THIS YOURSELF.
You probably could. Most of the men on this program could. You have been training for years and you do not need anyone to get you out of bed. The question is whether you want to spend the next six months writing it, second-guessing it, and quietly steering toward the sessions you are already good at. That is what self-programming does. It drifts toward your strengths, toward what you feel like, toward what you did last week. A written plan takes the negotiation away, and it lets you spend your effort on the work instead of on the plan.
WRITTEN BY A PHD, NOT AN INFLUENCER.
Dr. Charlie Ottinger writes every Blue/Green program. PhD in Human Performance. Master's in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. A fit man can tell you what he did. He usually cannot tell you why it worked, what it would do to a different athlete with a different training age, or how to sequence it so that two qualities improve at once instead of one at the expense of the other. Taking training advice from a man who is merely fit is like taking medical advice from a man who is merely healthy. Here you get the experience and the science.
ONE PROGRAM, NOT A CATALOG.
Some companies sell three hundred programs. That is not depth. It is a sign that nobody ever decided who they were building for. We built one program for one athlete, the Soldier who has already proven he can do hard things and intends to keep doing them. Every decision inside it was made with him in mind, and every B/G product is guaranteed.
IS THIS FOR YOU?
THIS IS FOR YOU IF
You have been through Ranger, Sapper, RASP, or SFAS, and the standard you earned there still means something to you.
You never got the chance to go, and you hold that standard anyway.
You are fit, and you are honest enough with yourself to know you have been coasting.
You already know how to train. You would rather follow a plan worth following than write a new one every Sunday night.
Fitness is part of your profession and part of who you are, not a hobby you drop when work gets busy.
You want a program that will occasionally beat you, and you would rather find that out than wonder.
THIS IS NOT FOR YOU IF
You are new to training and need to be built from the ground up.
You are looking for motivation. This program assumes you brought your own.
You want a list of exercises and nothing else.
You want the result without the six months.
You have a selection course on the calendar. This program holds a high standard year round. Peaking for a specific date is a different problem.
THE MAN WHO WROTE YOUR PROGRAM.

DR. CHARLIE
B/G HEAD COACH
PhD, Human Performance
Master's, Kinesiology and Exercise Science, Sport Performance
Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS)
Writer of every Blue/Green program
Dr. Charlie Ottinger is an Assistant Professor of Exercise Science at Barton College and previously served as Director of Human Performance and Sport Science at the Applied Science and Performance Institute. He is a strength and conditioning coach and a competitive powerlifter.
Most training programs are built by one side or the other. Coaches without the military context, or operators without the performance science. Since 2023, Dr. Charlie has partnered with Blue/Green to bridge that gap, pairing his expertise in human performance with the team's deep conventional and SOF experience. The result is what thousands of athletes have used to prepare for, and succeed at, Ranger School, SFAS, SFQC, Sapper School, and BOLC, while helping seasoned professionals keep climbing.
HE IS IN THE APP. MESSAGE HIM.
QUESTIONS SERIOUS ATHLETES ASK BEFORE THEY BUY.
Six sessions. Lifts, runs, and circuits, progressed together so no quality gets left behind while another improves. Every session is explained, every movement has video, and the coach's notes tell you why the work is written the way it is.
It is written for men who have already been through selection courses. If you are honest about your effort, it will find your edges. If you want it adjusted, Dr. Charlie is in the app.
Standard gym access. A barbell, a rack, plates, dumbbells, a pull-up bar, and somewhere to run. Nothing exotic and nothing you will not find in a post gym.
Yes. The app runs offline, so you do not need a signal to train. When your schedule changes, tell Dr. Charlie in the app what you have and he will tell you what to do with it.
Six months. Athletes who want to keep going can renew when they get there.
