SFAS PREPARATION
WHERE YOU ARE NOW ISN'T YOUR FUTURE.
Two phases. One standard. The prep that gets you to Day 0.
EST. FOR THE SELECTION-BOUND
SCROLL
AVERAGE WAS NEVER THE PLAN.
The candidates who get selected deliberately prepared for it. They made the work their focus well before they ever saw Camp Mackall. They are the ones who decided average was not for them. The ones who joined to go further than their peers. The ones who wanted to know what they were actually capable of. What they share is not where they came from, what their evaluations said, or what anyone thought of them when they got here. What they share is the work they did in the months before Day 0. The course rewards that, and only that.
THE 22 WEEKS BEFORE SFAS
PREPARATION HAS A SHAPE. KNOW WHERE YOU STAND.
SFAS preparation breaks into two phases. The 10 weeks before peak prep are about building the engine. The 12 weeks directly before the course are about sharpening it for what is coming. Most candidates do not need both phases. They need the right phase. Where you start depends on where you are right now.
You are ready for Phase 2 if you can pass the SFAS PT test (48 hand-release push-ups ACFT style, a 3:00 plank, 14 pull-ups, and a 13:30 2-mile run), run 5 miles in under 40 minutes, complete a farmer's carry with 50-pound dumbbells for 200 meters without stopping or running, finish a 12-mile flat-ground ruck with a 45-pound pack in around 3 hours, and continuously move with a 50-pound ruck for 2 hours without stopping. If you cannot, Phase 1 is where you start.
If you can complete that, start with Phase 2 at 12 weeks out. Until then, keep building your base. Coasting is how candidates show up to peak prep flatter than they started.

WHY BLUE/GREEN?
BEYOND THE WORKOUTS.
You have seen the other SFAS programs. Many of them have solid workouts. However, workouts alone are not where success is decided. When you train with intelligent nutrition, deliberate recovery, and real mental skills working alongside the physical work, you reach a level of physical performance you cannot reach any other way. The four domains amplify each other. Drop one and you cap your ceiling on the other three. Our guides cover all four domains because that is how candidates actually reach the version of themselves selection is looking for.
BUILT BY GREEN BERETS AND PHDs.
Our team is Green Berets and PhDs working together. The Green Berets bring the context of what selection demands, walked firsthand. The PhDs in exercise physiology, nutrition, and mental skills bring the science of how preparation actually works - not just what worked for one person. The combination is what makes the program work for you, not just for the athlete who wrote it.
ATHLETE FIRST.
Every decision B/G makes starts with one question. If we had to prepare for selection again, what would the best possible material and experience look like? That question shapes every guide we write. It is why our material explains everything in plain language. It is why our team is reachable directly when you have a question. DM us, email us, we will answer. It is why every B/G guide is money-back guaranteed. The candidates who get the most from our programs are not just preparing for one course. They are learning how to train, how to recover, how to think about performance.
THREE PATHS TO SFAS.

SFAS PHASE 1
THE BASE BUILDER.
If you cannot yet meet Phase 2's physical demands, you are not ready to start it. Phase 1 is the 10-week foundation that gets you there. Two to four sessions per week, added to your existing PT, designed to build the work capacity Phase 2 will demand of you.

IS THIS FOR YOU?
THIS IS FOR YOU IF
✓
You are headed to SFAS, SFRE, or SFE
✓
You have decided that average is not where you are stopping, and you are looking for the preparation to back that decision up.
✓
You understand that workouts alone are not enough when this much is on the line.
✓
You want to train next to people who take the work as seriously as you do.
THIS IS NOT FOR YOU IF
×
You are looking for a workout spreadsheet and nothing else.
×
You want to pay premium prices for one-on-one coaching that gives every athlete the same template.
×
You think whatever your buddy at Bragg sent you is good enough.
×
You are not sure you actually want this. You are exploring SF because someone else suggested it, not because you have decided it is yours.
FROM SOLDIERS WHO HAVE USED IT.
“
I joined the Army because I wanted to deploy and go do my job where it mattered. Then I got to my unit and realized these weren't the men I wanted to be surrounded with. The structure of the B/G guide is what got me out the door every morning, and the mental skills chapter is what kept me showing up on the days I did not feel like it. Each week I felt more like the version of myself I had been waiting to meet. Thank you for getting me where I belong.

I came into this program already fit and confident I knew how to train. What I did not have was preparation built specifically for the cumulative load of selection. The nutrition guidance, the recovery protocols, the periodization for SFAS demands rather than generic strength work. That is all what let me show up to Day 0 ready for the exact test I was about to face. Performing under those conditions is the standard a future 18A is expected to hold himself to. This guide got me there.

“
I had two buddies in my unit prep different ways. One guy bought a cheap PDF and just had a list of workouts with no clue why he was doing any of it. Another guy paid a ton for one-on-one coaching from some Green Beret with a big following and got the same plan everyone else got plus a check-in text once a week. I picked this one because it actually explained stuff. When I had a bad week or got pulled for something at work, I knew enough to fix my own plan without paying someone to text me back.

QUESTIONS CANDIDATES ASK BEFORE THEY BUY.
Work backward from your SFAS report date. Phase 2 starts 12 weeks out. If you cannot meet Phase 2's physical standards yet, you start Phase 1 about 22 weeks out. If you do not have a date yet but know you are heading toward one, the right answer is to start now. The work compounds. The wait does not.
Probably not. If you can pass the SFAS PT test under stress, run 5 miles in under 40 minutes, and ruck 12 miles in under 3 hours, start with Phase 2. Phase 1 exists for the candidate who is committed to SFAS but is not yet ready to absorb 12 weeks of peak preparation. If that is not you, do not buy it. If you are not sure, the readiness check linked above the FAQ walks through the full standard.
You can. Some of those programs are good. But most premium one-on-one SFAS coaching at this price point runs every athlete through the same template, with a weekly check-in on top. You are paying for personalization you are not actually getting. Our guides are long, complete, and explained in enough depth that you can be your own coach. You learn why the program is built the way it is, which means you can adjust intelligently when life gets in the way: a missed week, a field problem, an injury, an FTX. If you would rather pay three to five times more to have someone text you about it, that is a real option. We do not think it is the better one.
You can. There are free SFAS workout PDFs floating around Instagram and bare-bones programs for less than dinner out. Some of them have decent workouts. None of them have what selection actually demands you prepare for: the nutrition during high-output weeks, the recovery protocols when your body is breaking down faster than it can rebuild, and the mental skills chapter that gets you through the back half of the course. Selection is the most consequential professional moment most candidates will face. The candidates who get selected almost never look back and wish they had spent less on preparation. They look back and wish they had started earlier, or taken it more seriously sooner. If a hundred dollars is the difference between you preparing and not preparing, the decision is not really about price.
Green Berets know what selection demands. We work with them, and our guides are built with them. But being a Green Beret and being fit are not the same as understanding the science of how to prepare a different athlete, with a different training history, on a different timeline, for the same course. That is what PhDs in exercise physiology do. The question is not whether the operator selling his program walked the walk. He almost certainly did. The question is whether what worked for him will work for you, specifically, given your starting point, your schedule, your injuries, and your timeline. Operator experience alone gives you anecdote. Operator experience plus PhD science gives you a program built to work for you. That combination is what we sell. Most of the Green Berets you see selling SFAS programs are selling the first half of that equation. We sell both halves.
Yes. Treat the event like SFAS. Same physical demands, same mental load, same standard. Our guides reference SFAS throughout, but the preparation is the same.
THE WAY OUT STARTS WITH THE WORK.
The candidates who get selected started preparing before they had to. Start where you are. Finish where they did.
